Dr. Bashy is a Diplomate of the American board of Internal Medicine and a member of the American Board of Phlebology. He is certified in endovenous laser ablation, VNUS closure radio-frequency ablation (closureFAST), ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy (Varithena) and cosmetic sclerotherapy. He has been performing varicose/spider vein procedures since 1998 and has performed over 75,000 cosmetic sclerotherapy sessions and over 3,000 varicose vein procedures (Endovenous ablations).

Dr. Bashy earned his medical degree from the Catholic University of Cordoba, Argentina in 1991. He underwent further training at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and at Brown University in Rhode Island. After completing his medical studies, Dr. Bashy had his own private practice as a successful internist in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he founded the city’s first vein clinic. He moved to Las Vegas in 2001 and established its first vein clinic. He was the first physician in Las Vegas to introduce foam-sclerotherapy in the treatment of varicose veins and dorsal hand veins and the results have been extraordinary.

Dr. Bashy believes that each individual is unique and deserves a personalized plan of treatment. He also believes sclerotherapy should be affordable and available to everyone. He is passionate about helping each of his patients achieve relief from the discomfort caused by cosmetically unsightly spider veins and painful varicose veins.

Dr. Bashy lives in the Las Vegas area with his wife, son and daughter. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Farsi.
